Dr Nicola Brooks (TCM)
Dr Nicky Brooks (TCM) is the principle Chinese Medicine practitioner at Yin Wei Acupuncture Studio. She is caring and down to earth, and holds a double degree in Applied Science - Chinese Medicine, and a Bachelor of Health Sciences (Human Biology) from RMIT. She is also a qualified Shiatsu and Manaka therapies practitioner, in clinic since 2015.
Nicky is a passionate and empathetic practitioner, attuned to the myriad elements of the healing journey. She willingly shares her broad knowledge, and listens carefully to each patient, communicating with warmth, humility and clarity.
She integrates her knowledge of health and disease from both a western and eastern perspective, and continually widens her knowledge and clinical skills with ongoing professional development and mentorships.
Using her unique sensitivity and skills in a range of different modalities, she tailors individual treatments for each patient, at each session. She is passionate about empowerment through medicine that treats the whole person.
Nicky’s special interests in clinic include digestive issues, fertility, nervous system regulation, gynaecological conditions and chronic illness. She also has a strong connection with kids and teens.
